Brown Sugar Apple Grunt Productions has forged a distinctive voice as a production company with a unique kaupapa.

Brown celebrates our ethnicity. Sugar symbolises fun that comes from creativity. Apple is a reminder to be natural. Grunt recognises the effort required to deliver successful content.

It’s also the name of our favourite dessert.

Our goal is to tell stories unique to Aotearoa that reach local and international audiences. Our passion is innovative content that celebrates diversity, in particular Māori and Pasifika perspectives.
